Mr. Chainarong Limpkittisin, Managing Director of Reed Tradex said that METALEX –NEPCON Vietnam was closed with great success.10,578 visitors and 84% on-site booking rate for exhibit space of the next edition have confirmed the abundance of technologies & machinery as well as business and networking opportunities provided at METALEX Vietnam and NEPCON Vietnam from 6-8 October at SECC (TT Trien lam Saigon,) Ho Chi Minh City. International business cooperations between buyers, sellers, and business partners have been boosted. Useful knowledge was shared at the seminars. The participants were captivated by amazing performances of Titan the Robot. Technology presentations and seminars organized by leading organizations, including our own METALEX Vietnam & NEPCON Vietnam Forum, received strong interests from participants who were enthusiastic about new knowledge to develop businesses. And already 84% of the exhibit space of the 2012 edition has been booked by the exhibitors of this year's show. The business matchmaking program was always bustling with thousands of new partnerships who have found their perfect buyers, dealers, sellers, agents and suppliers from the shows.

Mr. Gary YangDirector of Exhibition Division, Leader of Taiwan Pavilion TAIWAN Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI) said that “TAMI is a big association of manufacturers in Taiwan. Our members mainly produce machinery products such as plastic, machine tools and etc, and their products have good quality with reasonable price. I’m impressed by the organization and promotion by Reed Tradex to attract visitors to participate, especially the performance from Titan the Robot.”
Mr. Viroj Sirithanasart, Managing Director of Master Tech & System, President of Thai Tool & Die Industry Association, Leader of Thailand Pavilion said that “Our Company’s highlight products are mold and die parts. We come to Vietnam this time to meet users and trading companies to find local partners. I believe visitors to these shows will get to approach the high technologies and gain more experiences and skills, so that their industries could develop further.”
Mr Choi Heon General Manager Busan Economic Promotion Agency Korea Pavilion said that “This year, we come here with 6 companies and some already got customers. We realize the fact that the industry in Vietnam is developing at this time and technology here has been updated to promote the whole economy. Busan is the brother city of HCMC city for many signed development contracts and policies, and many companies from our city have already set up their officers in HCMC for easier business activities.”
Ms. Carolyn Chew , Senior Manager International Trade Development Singapore Manufacturers’ Federation , Singapore Pavilion said that “Our exhibitors who come to represent Singapore Pavilion this year bring with them a variety of products in many fields such as machining centers, tooling and electronics assembly systems. The industrial sector in Vietnam has high potential and we hope to promote products from Singapore to support that growth.”
Mr. Tran Tam Thanh, Chief of Tam Thanh Company in Binh Chanh District said that “I come to this exhibition to look for the mold and die products. Currently supporting industries in Vietnam is still in developing phase and I feel that these events could help with a variety of products available.”
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy , Director of NUMATEC Cong Ty TNHH MTV SX-TM said that “My company comes here to see and update the knowledge of the newest machinery. By the way, I was totally impressed by the robot Titan. It shows how amazing human invention can be.”
Mr. Nguyen Ba Loc , Engineer of Pico Track Vietnam company said that “I want to look for products which are small, light and automatic especially if they are operated by robot. I’m really impressed by the scale of the exhibitions and the innovative products from more developed countries.”
